Protected When I Didn’t See It Coming

Sometimes the hardest things hit us without warning. A few weeks ago, I was home alone, and I had a fall that could’ve ended in tragedy. I passed out and woke up in a puddle of water—just inches from an extension cord. It could have gone very differently. But it didn’t. “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” – James 5:16 In this episode, I share the story of what happened, how God protected me, and how the power of prayer may have saved my life. I truly believe that the faithful prayers of others—my mom, my supporters, and my friends, were surrounding me before I even knew I was in danger. Not every hard thing we face is an attack from the enemy. Sometimes, it’s just life. We live in a broken world where things go wrong.
