Protest and Insurrection

Wednesday, January 6th was a bizarre and frightening day in our nation's capitol. Not only was there an historic fight over electoral votes stemming from the general election, but a peaceful protest turned into a violent attack on the Capitol building, the Senate, and the House of Representatives. One woman was shot to death, 4 others have died from other causes and congress was evacuated in the middle of a joint session.
