#PROTEST Angry residents protest in Durban CBD over lack of services

By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - Residents from Thokoza hostel in the Durban CBD blockaded roads with burning tyres from the early hours of this morning demanding basic services be delivered. It is alleged that police had to use rubber bullets to disperse protesting crowds. Residents say they have been without electricity for 5 days. This is among several areas in the city battling power and water outages. SABC reporter, Khalesakhe Mbense is there and brings us an update...
