PROTEUS trial and high risk PCa: Prof. Taplin discusses the results with Dr. Marra

In this episode, UROONCO PCa chief editor Dr. Giancarlo Marra interviews Prof. Mary-Ellen Taplin from Dana–Farber Cancer Institute in the United States, on the results of the PROTEUS trial. The PROTEUS trial is a phase 3, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial evaluating the benefit of adding apalutamide to standard androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) in men with high-risk, localised prostate cancer undergoing radical prostatectomy.They discuss the rationale, patient selection and the results of this trial (dual primary endpoint), as well as the impact of the results on clinical practice.
