Proverbs 1

A timely sermon to start our new series, Proverbs: The Way of Wisdom. In this sermon, Ps Anthony introduces the book of Proverbs in the first chapter and looks at what this clever book says about wisdom and life, what it said to the original hearers and what it says to us, today. How shall we live in light of the gospel, this current cultural climate, and how do we exercise wisdom as opposed to folly? Is it just a book of moralistic rules? Or an unattainable do's and don't's list? Or is there something more?
