Proverbs 27:1-7 - Open Rebuke is Better than Love Carefully Concealed

We never know what the future may bring. God is the Father who gives birth to the future. Because the wise man knows this, he lives day by day, trusting in God and His promises. They have hope that their faith may increase through the Lord. The wise person does not boast of themselves or their accomplishments. The Lord is the one who sees Himself glorified through their works. They do not seek earthly glory but that their Father in Heaven may approve of their works. The world keeps the soul unsatisfied but the Lord fills the soul with peace and the pure love of God.
