Proverbs 3:9-10, Dedicating Our Best

The wise father teaches his son that wisdom isn’t only about right thinking—it’s about right living. True wisdom expresses itself in generosity and gratitude, recognizing that every blessing comes from God’s hand. When the young son honors the Lord with his wealth, he acknowledges God as both Creator and Sustainer, the source of every good thing.To honor God means giving Him our best—the first and finest of what we produce. It’s not about repayment but about relationship, an act of love and trust that reflects a grateful heart. The one who gives joyfully discovers that God cannot be outgiven; He replenishes with abundance and multiplies blessings far beyond measure.When we dedicate our resources, talents, and time to God’s purposes, we become channels of His provision to others. In doing so, we not only experience His favor but also display His faithfulness to the world. Those who trust God in generosity will find both their barns and their hearts overflowing.
