In our prosperity and technology, we spend a lot of time connecting on the surface, but not really connecting in real relationships. For instance, texting is not the same as a person to person conversation, complete with gestures, expressions, touch, sound and other nuances. We can explore many things with our phones, but is it really worth the time doing all that exploring? Proverbs is full of applicable knowledge, not just facts.
