When God created man he lived in bliss before the Lord, without worry, care, or fear. The knowledge of good and evil was presented by the accuser as something to be coveted by mankind. And so the knowledge of good and evil was stolen from Eden. We have been cursed by that knowledge ever since. God, however, invites us to give up living by the confusion of the knowledge of the world, by that knowledge of good and evil, and instead to live by his guidance. God invites us to let go of the wisdom of the world; to give it up and to begin to live again by His wisdom.
