Providence College Parts Ways with Coach Kim English

Providence Colleges head basketball coach, Kim English, is set to depart after a challenging three-year tenure. Despite a respectable overall record of 47-50, the Friars struggled in Big East play with a 23-36 record. Englishs best season was his first, earning an NIT bid, but the team has since dropped ten of their last eleven games. Key player losses and high expectations in a competitive league contributed to the programs disappointment. Englishs resume includes successful stints at George Mason and assistant roles at Tennessee, Colorado, and Tulsa, but changes seem imminent as the Friars look towards a fresh start next season.
