Providence Friars Part Ways with Coach English

Providence Friars head coach Kim English is departing after a challenging three-year tenure, marked by a subpar record and no NCAA tournament appearances. English, who took over from Ed Cooley, struggled with key players like Devin Carter and Bryce Hopkins, who left for the NBA and transferred, respectively. Prior to Providence, English had a mixed record at George Mason and as an assistant coach at several universities. As the season ends, Providence faces Georgetown and the Big East tournament, aiming for a strong finish under Englishs leadership.
