Providence Road Corridor & Charlotte History

Segment 3, January 11th, 2024 Providence Road Corridor Charlotte is everchanging.  The Carolina Outdoors has existed and covered the Carolinas and beyond for a long time.  During this segment we head to the Providence Road Corridor at Queens/Queens, Providence/ Providence Road area with Charlotte History Project founder, Christopher S. Lawing. Show Highlights: This area included the Manor Theater, Myers Park Hardware, & the Buttercup The roadway splits Myers Park and Eastover neighborhoods Mecklenburg Furniture is becoming a training center of Charlotte Pipe and Foundry The 250th Anniversary of the Meck Deck (May 20th, 1775) Things You’ll Learn by Listening: The corridor travels between Queens University and Novant/Presbyterian Hospital.
