We believe every child’s right to clean water.” With 2.1 billion people lacking access to safe drinking water*, Clean Water International’s mission is to empower disadvantaged communities by providing access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene projects. Led by Darrel Nelson, this nonprofit organization has provided access to clean water in many different parts of the Philippines. In this episode, let’s hear from Darrel how he could introduce clean water to communities, contribute to the economic development of different areas, negotiate with potential sponsors and funders, and explore the need for more research.
