עיר מגוריו של ישוע הייתה נצרת ישוע חזר לעיר מגוריו, ולימד את דבר האלוהים שם בבית כנסת יהודי. כל מי ששמעו אותו נדהמו והעליבו אותו באומרם, "מאין לזה החוכמה הזאת והגברות? הלא זה הוא בן החרש? הלא אימו שמה מרים? ואחיו יעקב ויוסי ושמעון ויהודה? ואחיותיו הלא כולן איתנו הן? ומאין איפה לו כל אלה?"כאשר ישוע חזר לעיר מגוריו והמשיך להשמיע את דבר האלוהים, אלה אשר שמעו את דברו לא האמינו אף על פי שהם נדהמו ממנו. מה הייתה הסיבה לכך? זה מכיוון שמקום זה היה מקום מגוריו. הסיבה שהם לא האמינו במה שישוע אמר הייתה כיוון שהוא היה מעיר מגוריהם. אז ההמון סער ואמר "ממה שאנו ידועים הוא לא בעל השכלה ולא יודע כלום. אז כיצד הוא יכול להגיד דברים שכאלה?" זוהי הסיבה מדוע הם התעלמו ולא האמינו בדבר ישוע https://www.bjnewlife.org/https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMissionhttps://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35
