Psalm 06: A Cry For Mercy

Some prayers are polished. Psalm 6 is not one of them. When David says his bones are in agony, his heart is sick, and his bed is soaked with tears, he’s not being dramatic, he’s being honest, and that honesty becomes the doorway to mercy.We sit with Psalm 6 as a lament psalm and a practical guide for what to do when you feel overwhelmed and can’t even put your finger on what you need.
