Psalm 106, 107, & 108

from Perfectly Imperfect Together · host Perfectly Imperfect Together

In Psalms 106, 107, & 108, the psalmist is honest about the sins of their lives and pours everything out before the Lord in sincere and deep repentance. God always answers a broken repentant heart before Him. In joyous faith, he glorifies and honors God above all, trusting Him with everything heart and soul. He praises God in extreme gratitude for God's patience, mercy, grace, and faithful love. If we lose our way, our freedom, our health, our hope, or our home, we can and should cry out to the Lord and trust Him wholeheartedly with the outcome. He is the only One who can lead us to His path, break the chains and bondage of sins, restore our health, increase our faith, and bring us home to Him. He is faithful and secure. Praise, prayer, worship, and gratitude to the Lord is foundational to everything. He brings us to victory for all eternity if we are willing to trust Him wholeheartedly with all our guts and passionately follow Him with every last exhale. As the psalmist declares, let us praise the Lord for His great love and for the wonderful things He has done for us.
