THE GODLY CRY OUT TO GOD. 1 Kings 19:10 He said, “I have been very jealous for the Lord, the God of hosts. For the people of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword, and I, even I only, am left, and they seek my life, to take it away. 1 Kings 19:18 Yet I will leave seven thousand in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him. 2. THE WICKED SPEAK TO ONE ANOTHER. Psalm 1:5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous 3. YAHWEH SPEAKS. 4. TRUST IN THE PURITY OF YAHWEH’S WORDS. Psalm 7:14 Behold, the wicked man conceives evil and is pregnant with mischief and gives birth to lies. 2 Corinthians 4:17,18 17. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, 18. as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
