He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” We explore the Hebrew depths of this promise: - “Sow” (zāra‛) — to plant, to become pregnant, to carry and produce seed. - “Reap” (qātsar) — to harvest, to act with urgency, even holy impatience, in claiming what is rightfully ours.
