Psalm 127B

We're called to be diligent in forming these young lives, repeatedly teaching them to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. The imagery is striking: arrows must be carefully crafted, not simply found in nature. They need fletchings, properly weighted tips, and straight shafts—all requiring time, skill, and patience. Similarly, our children need us to invest deeply in their spiritual formation, surrounding them with the right community, practicing target shooting at Christ Himself, and ultimately releasing them to fly true toward God's purposes. The reminder from Deuteronomy 6 echoes throughout: we must teach these truths diligently, when we sit, when we walk, when we lie down, and when we rise.
