In Psalms 130 we have another song of ascent. Here we contemplate what would it be like if God DID keep a record of sins - but he doesn't - and he redeems his people. This psalm also considers the watchman who waits all night long making sure the city is safe, and really looks forward to sunrise so he can go to bed. That desire for sleep is compared to the desire we should have for the Lord
