Psalm 2 reveals a world in rebellion—and a King who cannot be overthrown. In this sermon, we trace the Psalm from its roots in David’s reign to its ultimate fulfillment in Jesus Christ, the true Son and reigning King over all nations. While humanity rages and resists His rule, God responds with sovereign authority, establishing His King on Zion through the resurrection. This message unpacks both the warning and the invitation of Psalm 2: reject Christ and face His righteous judgment, or “kiss the Son” and find refuge, blessing, and peace in Him. The same King who rules the nations with power also welcomes sinners with grace.
