Psalms is a book of worship through the hardships of the psalmist. Why do people rage against/oppose a good God? Psalm 1 is about your personal walk with God while Psalm 2 is about a group of people's walk with God. Genesis 11:3-5 Tower of Babel. Satan invites men to rebel against God with the purpose of destroying man. Luke 19:11-27 Parable of the minas. Luke 20: 9-16 Parable of the wicked vinedressers. Psalms 2:4-5. Children can rage, hit, throw tantrum to father, but does not hurt the father. Yet one hit from the father can take out the child. All it takes is for GOd to get a little angry to say you're done. The father's patience portrays His love. His judgement shows His righteousness. Psalm 1:1 startes with bless and Psalm 2:12 ends with bless. God wants to bless individually and as a group.
