Psalm 4:8 (NIV) says: “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 91 reminds us that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Even in the quiet hours of the night, God’s presence surrounds us and His protection remains over our lives. Lord Jesus, as this new day quietly begins, we pause in this midnight hour and place ourselves into Your care. While much of the world sleeps, we remember that You are watching over us and guiding every moment of our lives. Bring peace to our hearts tonight. Where there are worries about tomorrow, calm our thoughts. Where there are burdens that still weigh on our minds, help us release them into Your hands. Let Your peace fill our homes and cover our families. Protect those we love and let Your presence rest gently over every place where Your people are sleeping tonight. Jesús, trae Tu paz a nuestros corazones esta noche y danos descanso en Tu presencia. Jesus, traz a Tua paz aos nossos corações nesta noite e guarda-nos enquanto descansamos.
