The day has spoken loudly; now I ask You to speak louder still — with noite tranquila, the quiet night You promise to those who rest in Your presence. Some thoughts rise uninvited, some memories replay, and some emotions settle in ways I did not expect. But You draw near with descanso suave, gentle rest, calming the places inside me that feel unsettled and heavy. Your voice speaks softly, reminding me that I am safe in You, held by You, protected by You. Jesus, bring cura interior, inner healing, to every tired place in my heart. Heal the strain that sits beneath the surface. Ease the tension I have carried through the evening. Restore what today has weakened. Lift the weight of what I cannot resolve tonight, and hold my spirit steady in Your presence. Where rest feels distant, bring it close. Where my mind spins, quiet it. Where fear whispers, silence it with truth. And where I feel alone, let paz renovada, renewed peace, flow through me like the gentlest covering, settling every restless thought. Jesus, teach me to lie down in confidence, not confusion. Teach me to sleep under Your protection, not under worry. Let Your peace anchor my breathing, my thoughts, my emotions, and my night. As I close this day, surround me with the calm only You can give. Let Your presence define my rest and prepare me for the dawn to come.
