Psalms 4 "For the end" This psalm contains seven dyads. When David says the Lord heard his cry, it shows a past relationship in which God already provided. Those ewho pray to a rock do not get an answer. We cry and God hears us which is different than the rest of the world. Why do you love vain and worthlessness? Don't complain that God isn't doing anything in your life if you do not call Him into your life. He demands righteousness which impacts our prayer life. You want to have peace, but peace requiress mercy from God. If you are under the wrath of God, you should not be able to sleep. We quench the Spirit and sear our conscience. Jesus is the One you should spend everything to acquire. I call out to Him for mercy. Jesus is our mediator to God. Be angry/agitated/trembling knowing you stand under God's judgement. You should lie in bed full of remorse for what you have thought and have done. The thoughts of our hearts are wicked all the day long. David has gladness in his heart. David lies in peace and hope. I am not the source of the good ness that your worldly friends see and seek. The light of His countenance, His glory, is stamped upon you. You are His. The Holy Spirit is our seal on our inheritance. He has put gladness where there was remorse. God is for you. While the world has fear, you have confidence in Christ.
