Psalm 73 - God's Gracious Presence

In this message from Psalm 73, Jim explores Asaph’s struggle with a question many believers encounter: Why do people who disregard God seem to prosper while those trying to follow Him struggle? Asaph’s envy and frustration nearly cause him to lose his footing until he enters the presence of God and gains a different perspective. There, he not only sees the temporary nature of worldly prosperity, but also confronts the self-righteousness and self-pity within his own heart. Psalm 73 ultimately points to the greater gift believers already possess: God Himself. Through Christ, we are grasped, guided, and promised future glory. When the world leaves us confused, disappointed, or envious, we can draw near to God and find clarity in His presence.
