Jesus, Your peace is not distant; it is near, steady and constant. Tonight I welcome Your peace into the places where fear tries to rise, where exhaustion weighs heavily, and where unanswered questions feel too large to carry alone. Let Your calming presence soften the strain that presses against my mind. Let Your shadow become my refuge. Let Your voice quiet the anxieties that try to speak more loudly than Your promises. As many across Brazil and the Portuguese-speaking world search for comfort in the late hours, I pray that this moment becomes a doorway into stillness. Teach my heart to breathe slowly again. Lift the emotional heaviness that has gathered throughout the day. Let Your nearness settle over me like a warm covering, bringing safety where there has been tension and rest where there has been unrest. Jesus, hold me through the midnight hour. Watch over my home, my family and the people I love. Guide me as I surrender every burden into Your hands. And as I lie down, let Your shadow become the place where my soul finds deep, renewing peace.
