God, I can’t switch my mind off tonight. The day has finished, but my thoughts are still moving. Things I tried to carry quietly are rising again, and the stillness feels louder than I expected. I feel that. The thoughts that won’t settle. The tension that lingers.  The rest that feels just out of reach. I feel it. But I will not carry this into my sleep. I come to You. I release every fear into Your hands.  I release the anxiety that follows me into this night.  I release what I cannot control. I release it. And now, I receive. I receive Your peace.  I receive Your covering. I receive the rest that settles deeply within me. I receive. You are watching over me. Through every hour of this night, You remain. Your presence surrounds me. Your faithfulness covers me. Your angels stand guard as I sleep. So I will not fear. Fear does not stay where You are. Fear does not rise above Your peace. Fear does not define this night. I rest in You. My breathing slows. My thoughts begin to quiet. My heart settles into Your presence. And now, I lift my prayer beyond myself. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Let Your Shalom rest upon that city. Let peace replace unrest. Let calm settle where there is tension, and let Your presence bring security to every life. Guard Israel. Watch over every home, every family, every place that needs Your peace tonight. May those who love You be secure. And as I pray for peace there, I receive Your peace here. Because You love me, I am not alone. Because You love me, I am protected. Because You love me, I can rest without fear. Jesus, cover this night. Let sleep come gently. Let peace remain deeply. Let every part of me settle fully into Your care. From São Paulo to Mexico City, from Nairobi to Jerusalem, across every place entering into night, You are present. You are protecting. You are holding Your people. So I lie down in peace. I release. I receive. I rest. In Your name, Jesus, I am safe, I am covered, and I am at peace.
