As Brazil, Mozambique, Chile, India, and the USA awaken or rest across different time zones, I pray that the assurance of Your nearness becomes real to every heart listening. The night often brings thoughts that move softly, worries that rise without warning, and fears that try to settle into the soul. But Your presence speaks louder than the dark. It tells us not to be afraid. It reminds us that courage is found not in ourselves, but in You. Lord, be the refuge for every person who feels the weight of these hours. Surround them with Your peace, steady their breathing, and calm the unease that tries to shape their thoughts. Let the warmth of Your protection settle over families, over those awake with concern, over those whose minds feel unsettled. Where fear whispers, let Your voice cut through with confidence: Take courage, it is I. Tonight, Jesus, strengthen tired hearts. Lift those who feel alone in their thoughts. Give courage to continue, courage to trust, courage to rest under Your covering. As the world turns and dawn moves closer, anchor our souls deeper into Your care. You are refuge. You are fortress. You are peace in the dark.
