Meditation on the Word Psalm 99 1 The Lord reigns; let the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake!2 The Lord is great in Zion; he is exalted over all the peoples.3 Let them praise your great and awesome name! Holy is he!4 The King in his might loves justice. You have established equity;you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.5 Exalt the Lord our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is he!6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel also was among those who called upon his name. They called to the Lord, and he answered them.7 In the pillar of the cloud he spoke to them; they kept his testimonies and the statute that he gave them.8 O Lord our God, you answered them; you were a forgiving God to them, but an avenger of their wrongdoings.9 Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the Lord our God is holy!- Psalm 99 (ESV)Psalm 100 1 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!2 Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!3 Know that the Lord, he is God! Holy, holy, holy are You, Lord God Almighty!Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Wonderful Counselor, You are just and You love justice. Holy, holy, holy are You!Thank You for Your Son, Jesus, the Great High Priest; He called to the LORD, and You answered Him, Father.You spoke from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.” (Matthew 17:5). Jesus was faithful to keep Your testimonies and every instruction You gave Him.You are the Lord who hears and answers; You are gracious in Your forgiveness and just in Your judgement of sin.We exalt You, Lord our God, and bow in reverence to You, for You are holy, Lord our God!May all the earth celebrate Your name and fame, awesome God! By Your Spirit, we will serve You with gladness, Lord! In Your presence their is fullness of joy; our hearts long to be satisfied in You. How can we not sing Your praises in Your presence? The Lord, our Lord, is God! You made us, and we are Yours; we are Your people, and the sheep of Your pasture, Good Shepherd.We enter Your gates with thanksgiving, and Your courts with praise!Thank You for welcoming us to seek You; thank You for making Yourself available to us, Mighty One.Thank You for Your joy and peace; Your name is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10).Your name is above every other name. It is written,“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God” (Romans 14:11). Hallelujah! Lord you are good; Your steadfast love endures forever, and Your faithfulness endures to all generations.We celebrate Your glorious name and proclaim Your fame, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
