In Psalms 86 we have a psalm of David - the only one in book three of the psalms. This prayer is a psalm of prayers and a prayer to know God’s ways. In this psalm we find out that David was a true monotheist which doesn’t surprise many until we realise that monotheism didn’t truly get a foothold in Israel until much later, during the time of Elijah.
