In this sermon, Pastor Mark shares on Psalm 27; a song of faithful confidence and lament. REFLECTION & DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: 1. Scripture provides us timeless wisdom to live by. As you read verses 4-5, what do notice the psalm is doing? What is provided by seeking God in the temple and gazing upon God's beauty? 2. There is a lot of talk about enemies in the psalms. What are the enemies in your life? Either internal, relational, social or spiritual? Furthermore, how could you talk to God about those enemies? 3. Read the final two verses. Why might the psalmist finish with this sentiment? 4. What is produced in faithfully waiting? After considering this- what are you waiting on God for in your life? Spiritual Formation Practice. As demonstrated in the life of Jesus, it is good for us to know and memorize the Psalms. Choose a psalm that you would like to have memorized by the end of this series.
