Psychedelic Love Affair

My intention for this mix was to create a psychedelic battering ram to the current state of horror and despair. A way of break through to a better Spring. * Thanks to visual collaborator Brian Akey for the incredible graphics! Instagram: bakey_graphics * Love to the Radical Faeries who inspired so much, including the concept of the Psychedelic Love Affair--imagined as a party where you can dance, make out, relax, fuck, do yoga, sleep, massage, eat, thrive, live, exult, empty out, fill up again...all to gorgeous melodic music on the psychedelic edge of house and techno. #WarmWeirdMostly. * Mad love and endless respect to Jenö, Lily Ackerman, Roman Flügel, the Mayan Warrior, Ginkgo, Jerry Bonham, Powel, and especially Lee Burridge (and Robot Heart) for exposing me initially to so many of the flavors I used here. * Mad love to giraffe Mark Lippert for concept consultation; to Erin O'Connor-Drew, Wesley Holmes, Kadeejah, Finn, Biggie and Scott Burdette for the love and support. * Quote from my favorite play & movie, John Guare's "Six Degrees of Separation." 3/20/17
