Psycho
from Film History: The History Of Film · host Film History
We’re ending off our Extended Spooky Season right with one of the most iconic horror films ever spawned! Against all odds and with very little studio support, in 1960 Alfred Hitchcock set off with a shoe string budget from his own pocket and crafted one of the finest films in Film History: the History of Film - “Psycho” starring Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh working for much less than their normal fees. This film broke the mold and set the tone for not only countless horror films to come but just film in general.
