Pt. 2 Done Chasing My Dreams (Dreamville Fest Revelation) ft. Mikeya Janee'

I wasn't supposed to be there. It was the last performance of the two-day Dreamville Festival, and I stood off in a corner amongst 52,000 other attendees with tears in my eyes watching two of my favorite artists: Erykah Badu and J. Cole. Sure, you could say these were tears of gratitude, but as my eyes began to flood, the only thing I could say to myself was, “This can’t be my life.” Yes, I was able to catch the once-in-a-lifetime moment of them performing “Too Deep for the Intro,” but what it took for me to get inside those walls was a persistence I’m not even sure was supposed to be activated.So how did you actually get in, Mikeya?
