👨‍⚖️Gov. Murphy executive order regarding prison release. 🚨   The DOC / Medical Review Panel will asses release on the following priorities:  #1 - 60 yrs of age with compromised health 🚑  #2 - 60 yrs of age OR compromised health  #3 - Denied parole in the last 12 months  #4 - Release date in the next 90 days  These lists are to be run AT LEAST weekly by the NJ DOC.   In the video Meghan McCormick Hoerner discusses the prioritization and execution of prisoner release related to Coronavirus in NJ prisons.    Meg is the former Chief Assistant Prosecutor for the County of Cape May, New Jersey. 🚑  As an adjunct instructor at Rowan University and former instructor at both the Cape May and Vineland police academies, she has a passion for sharing information about the law in NJ.    -The New Jersey judicial system is effectively shut down until April 26th.  Though, the date is most likely meaningless in terms of re-opening the courts.   -What are the conflicts we are facing between problem solving and the Constitution?  -What are the criteria of prisoner release in NJ?  -C19 in New Jersey prisons and jails.  -Due-process and a speedy trial.
