The essence of the Christian life is joyful submission to God’s game plan--that includes glorifying God with your body wherever He sends you. What’s been the most helpful / frustrating / challenging / encouraging idea or insight from the Beginnings (Genesis 1-11) sermon series? Read 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and Genesis 3:7. Why were Shem and Japheth so careful to cover Noah’s body without seeing him? What are specific ways we can grow in glorifying God with our bodies and properly honouring the bodies of others? Read Acts 17:26-27 and Matthew 24:14. How do these verses this help us understand why Moses wrote the table of nations in Genesis 10? In 11:6, God says that if the builders succeed in their mission, then “nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.” What did He mean by this and how does this explains why he frustrated their plans?” One of the traits of Team Serpent is the desire to “make a name for ourselves” (compare to the serpent’s desire to “be like God” in 3:4). As believers in Jesus, we don’t have to worry about making a name for ourselves. Why is this true?
