蒲葵

蒲葵是棕櫚科蒲葵屬的常綠喬木，又叫散葉蒲葵或扇椰子，樹身通直不分枝，高十至十五公尺，頂端有扇形葉。花序直立，花黃色，果實長雞卵形，成熟後黑茶色。原產於台灣龜山島、中國南部、日本及琉球。用途包括庭園及行道樹、雨傘柄與屋柱、葉製雨傘或繩索、編葵扇與蓑衣，以及藥用根止痛定喘、葉治婦女病、種子涼血止痛。蒲葵的新葉每年萌發，維持約兩年才枯落，呈現三層葉的變化。 -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
