Pub Songs, Celtic Christmas and Community #124

It was another busy week. I'm still at work on two CDs: Scottish Songs of Drinking & Rebellion and A Celtic Christmas. Both are nearing completion. I have one more song to finish mixing for the Scottish CD and I'm getting ready to send the Christmas album to the printers. It was fully funded on Kickstarter as of yesterday. This is a huge triumph for me. My compilation CDs are incredible tools for promoting indie Celtic bands. And I am SO happy to be able to help these bands receive greater attention. If we raise enough money, I plan to hire a publicist to give the album even more attention. The other great thing about this compilation is that it will also be used to raise money for both the podcast and Celtic non-profits. I've given away over $15K to Celtic non-profits since I started producing compilation CDs. I'm extremely excited to have such a fine compilation that will raise even more money every Christmas.
