Public Health Unscripted, Episode 42: MPH Alumni Casey and Andrew Solsrud

In this episode of the ‘Public Health: Unscripted’ podcast, Master of Public Health alumni and founders of the podcast, Casey (Allen) and Andrew Solsrud, discuss their time in the MPH program, the founding of the podcast, and their current and future plans. They also share advice on balancing personal and professional relationships. This episode offers an insightful look into their experiences and perspectives as public health professionals and podcast creators. Casey and Andrew turned to an unexpected source to officiate their wedding: their colleague from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) re-accreditation project, Michael Elliott, Ph.D., associate professor and chair of SLU’s epidemiology and biostatistics department. After a quick crash course in online ordination, Elliott became a minister through the Universal Life Church and crafted a unique ceremony message inspired by CEPH competencies that was a hit at the couple’s wedding this July!
