Public Land

Public land is one of the great inheritances of the American sportsman — millions of acres held in trust, free to walk, hunt, and fish because generations before us decided ordinary people should have access to extraordinary country. Every man who steps onto it receives a gift he did not earn, purchased by others who thought of him before he was born.Jesus sent His disciples out with the same economy: freely you have received; freely give. Everything that matters most in your life — grace, forgiveness, the Gospel itself — came to you as a gift someone else paid for. The only right response to unearned inheritance is generous stewardship.What did you receive freely? Faith someone taught you. Skills someone showed you. Access someone fought for. Forgiveness Someone died for. Now walk the fence line of your life and ask: who am I passing it to? Freely received demands freely given. That's how inheritances survive.Prayer:Lord, everything I have that matters came to me freely — grace I didn't earn, faith someone shared, blessings others sacrificed for.Break any tightfistedness in me. Show me who needs what I've been given, and make me a generous steward of every inheritance in my hands.
