Public safety advisory in place after attacks in Oceanside

Oceanside police have put out a public safety advisory after a string of attacks that killed two men and left a third wounded. The men were unhoused. In other news, Gov. Gavin Newsom recently vetoed a bill that could have significantly boosted voter registration at the DMV, and local advocacy groups are disappointed, but undeterred.
