In the dead of night, as people sleep, that's when the spirits creep. As the bell tolls three, dark things take power. We like to call it the supernatural hour. And now, our hosts.

And we are back for another half-ass episode of the Supernatural Hour. I'm your host, Castle. With this also, we've got Peaches, who we all heard giggling. And we've got Beaker, aka Tim.

What's happening? I believe we've been over the whole, like, aka thing before. You can just say the one name. I just say, aka, like dropping A.

Yeah. Exactly. That's one. Yep, that's one going forward.

aka Tim. And we are missing Lurch tonight. I'm not sure where Lurch is at. We sent out Sir Trenesky to find Lurch.

And apparently, Granny Cinnamon, aka Bien. Just kidding. Lost Silent Dawn somewhere in Payson. Last I heard she couldn't find one of her children or Silent Dawn.

And our dad is forcing her to pick grapes. So while recording, Granny Cinnamon is picking grapes. We are back and we are back on schedule. She's going to make wine?

I don't know. I just don't know. I just don't know how to... Raisins.

I just don't know how to terrify visualization of Granny Cinnamon stomping on grapes to make grape juice. Raisins are good, actually. Why are you visualizing your sister? I want to make it weird, Tim.

Thanks. You're welcome. You're a wife. I'll be so upset with hearing her.

We're laughing. We're laughing. We're like two minutes in. I think it's just got weird.

Really? Really weird. Are you sure we're two minutes in? So, well, I hope so.

So, here's the plan. We actually had a big show prepared tonight where we're going to share personal experiences and talk about stuff that's happened. We're going to talk about D'ann, who we had to land on being here. We are going to do a paranormal pudding part, do.

Ah-ha. So, suck it, Aaron. Yes. So, we are going to be telling goofy stories and talking about stuff.

But before we get going, we need to talk about some things that are coming up. Take it away, beaker. This is just in. What am I talking about?

Well, I figured out stuff. Stuff. Stuff. Things and stuff.

So, we got the Paranal Expo coming up next month. Because it is now officially September. Which means we are the doorstep of Halloween. So, on October, we got stuff for the October 5th and 6th.

So, the 5th will be a Paranal Investigation at the Fort Douglas. Last, I heard they're trying to get the General's Quarters and some of those other buildings. Which, by the way, the General's Quarters is extremely haunted. In fact, I believe there's actually a portal there.

But we will confirm that when we do that. You know, it's a win set, me. Like I'm going to say something. You want me to say something.

Say something. Say something. Thank you. So, my squinting, give me the inappropriate subtle wink.

Dude, your wife is right there in between you. It's saying inappropriate. That's okay, I'm winking at her. So, I was like.

I had to let this up. So, really? I think it's kind of weird. Well, but okay, continue with that.

We're swingers over here at the Supernatural Hour. Woo! Welcome to late night talk with Beaker on the Supernatural Hour. Oh, poor thing.

Just got really weird. Oh, we have. Okay. So, General's Quarters and Fort Douglas and.

So, that's a possible location. The investigation will be for sure somewhere on Fort Douglas property. It might be the Military Museum. It might be the, I know they're shooting for the bigger buildings.

Like the General's Quarters, the Commander's Quarters, stuff like that. Tickets for that, I believe, are money. They're called Million dollars. That's not the information I have up there right now.

I have the actual Expo. Let's see. Jupy-poo. That was not an EDP by the way.

That was video gameing. I love his name. So. I love our little protagonist.

It's amazing. I was going to write all this down. I didn't. So, while you're looking that up, I'm going to say that Enhanced from Syfice Factory Bank will be there.

A lot of our listeners know that Enhanced in. Coffee, a renowned medium will be there. Other people will be there as well. Holy cow.

That actually looks like either they're sold out on that investigation or they just turned off the sales, but it says sales ended. Oh, interesting. Last time I checked. How about?

The tickets, if it says the sales ended, but I'll have to double check that. The tickets were $35 a piece. And last I heard she had sold at least half of the event. So, it's possible that it's sold out.

I'll have to confirm that and I'll update you guys on Facebook. Either way, keep an eye out on it. I can't get into that one. We do have an investigation coming up in October as well.

That one should be going up soon. I know I've said that for like three podcasts in a row, but it will be going up here in the next week or two as we get a little bit closer. So, if you don't get it on the Pernumill, Expo investigation, we do have another one planned three days before Halloween. Saturday, October 27th.

So, if you want me Halloween plans, that may be something to do. No, you have the Pernumill Public. And we do have the Pernumill Public. Can we do have some entries?

We did have some people respond. Sandy Rousieri is coming as Kelly Brennan. Who else we got, Tim? We got Mr.

Brown. He sent us his scary story. He entered that contest last year and I dropped the ball and forgot to give him the invite. So, this year he should be there.

He's got the information. We've also got, you know, I'll be there. So, that's really all you need. And I'll be there too.

So, that's just double trouble. And Ben Zegrisma has always proved to be a rather active and fun location. If this one I've already, I've closed off though. So, if you haven't already received an invite from someone from the team, sorry, maybe next year.

But we've already filled up that. Yeah, and it is an early event. So, there will be other opportunities. And if you didn't respond, well, you had your chance.

Good luck next year. So, going back to the Paranal Expo, that one is going to be held on Saturday, October 6th. Tickets for that general mission is $10 and what that gets you is access to all the vendors and the panels. They will have guest speakers throughout the day as well to get everything, the panels, the guest speakers, the panel, the vendors, all that.

That one's $35. They do have kids $12 and under or free. But they do have like a little kids section where they're going to be doing like face painting and balloons and stuff like that. So, that one, if you wanted to take your kids to that area, that's like an extra $12, I believe.

And then also, some of the guests that they plan on having for the Paranal Expo is Chip Coffee. He is a very well-known medium in the community. If you haven't seen him, I would definitely look him up. He's from what I've been told of what I've seen.

He's actually really gifted and talented. So, it's definitely worth coming to see. They also have our friend Ben Hanson will be there. He was from Syfic, Packer Fakton.

And I say we've actually had him on the show and he's actually a good friend of ours. And so he's fun investing here with Ben. He likes to do live EVP playback when he investigates. He'll ask the question and then play back the audio right on the spot.

Which is kind of cool because he's caught some EVPs live so to speak. So, it's kind of instant gratification. It's none of this. Hey, record it and then when you get home, good luck.

Let's not forget anything. So, investing with Ben has always been a real pleasure in my opinion. He certainly knows his stuff. Even though he's primarily a UFO guy, he certainly knows his way around a good ghost investigation.

Speaking of UFOs, UFO guys, Alien Dave will also be there. They're going to have Greg Lawson, the Paranal Detective will be there. Brandi's new best friend. My new best friend.

Jimmy Lynn Darling. Oh yeah, so what's her name? She'll be there and she usually brings a lot of her haunted stuff in her collection of random stuff that she collected over the years. One is that Po Po, the killer clown doll that she has.

She's also got a film, a human skull. It's a skull of a voodoo priestess, I remember, right? It was actually specifically willed to her on the voodoo priestess's death, if I recall correctly. It's Vodio.

She's a practitioner of Vodio. Vodio, and she will tell you. Potato, potato. There's also going to be an author that's written, doesn't love books in the paranormal psychic and magic honors.

And then the oldest daughter from the, if any of you have seen the movie, Conjuring, with the Perin family on their farm. Andrew Perin, she will be there as well. We're really looking forward to meeting some of these people. Like I said, also on that night from five to seven, they're going to have a gallery reading with Chip Coffee.

There's three different prices for that. There's starting with the most expensive. It's $55 and that gets you in the front section. $45 gets you in the mid section, $35 gets you in the back of the room.

That one is also selling out pretty quick. Last I heard them, I think like three forces of the room was already sold. I've been to a lot of these events doing this and quite frankly the pricing on this particular event is actually extremely low. I'm actually surprised it's as low as it is.

So if you've ever been interested in just checking out this stuff, this one's well worth the effort of showing up. The pricing of the door is reasonable. The price for the different side things is reasonable. The price for the gallery reading is reasonable too, I think.

Yeah. $35 just for the back section. I mean, you're still in the room, but you're just not up front. I've seen investigations here in Salt Lake that cost more than this gallery reading.

I've seen single best stations range in the $75 to $250 range. Yeah, and this is a well-known medium nationally. And to be only charging $55 a person, that's actually really good in my opinion. So anything else that we need to cover?

Ourselves with blankets because it's cold. No, it's not really. So no, nothing else to cover. All right.

Well, that's a show. Thanks everybody for tuning in. Till next time. Just kidding.

Your eyes are trying to give me a blanket. Causing her love on you. She feels bad for you. I can cut glass with these things.

Or it's all the winking. The winking? Yeah. Well, we're thinking weird.

All right. So we had a request for personal experiences. The end and I had one that we're going to share. We're going to wait till the end is here.

You've only shared it like seven times on the show though. I think I have. What's your leather jacket? Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. I think we talked about that one. You can find that in like four or five different episodes.

Yeah. We should definitely talk about it again though. So, okay. This time I was going to talk about it in third person.

You're ruining it. So Castle's younger. So when Castle was younger. Castle lived in Cedar City for a period of time.

I like that fake voice you use when you're attending like pretend stories and you want people to know that you're just joking. You know there's like weird voice you use. Do I have a pretend weird voice? Yes.

It's an awesome pretend weird voice. It's funny. It's almost as funny as your Miley laugh. That's not funny.

Okay. I just want to point out something I thought was hilarious because you know last time we did parenum will put in, we talked about Amethyst Realm, the chick over in England that's trying to get pregnant by a ghost. We did. Yeah.

I just thought it was funny because the very next week Kenny covered the same story on Radio Ronin. So I'm just wondering is this story really random or did he just steal my story and make it his own? Yeah, thanks Kenny. Although I do go on the Podmash at Goblin's Face, we're paid all the time and just say how Kenny's random stories are highlighted in the show.

You know I honestly believe that. I think his stories are so funny that it's just awesome. I got to say parenum will put in is very much a rip off of Kenny's random stories. Yeah, I know.

It's actually an idea that I had before and then Kenny kind of did it. We were actually going to start a whole new podcast with it. We were trying to come up with it. They're purely off of a weird random story.

Yeah, that was we had an idea for sure like that and it just never happened but. It made down the road. But meanwhile. So let me kind of explain why we are where we're at.

We do go to investigations here and that's true. And the recording stuff is here. That's why we are where we're at. I know it's what I can't make.

It's like you want to record? You can't, bitches. It's locked in my house. Yeah, there's ways around it.

I got Mike's mic card. I got a mixer over at Dan's office. I know locksmiths. It's okay.

Here on pirate radio. I thought it was a supernatural hour without Castle. He would his pants. He would know what to do.

He's like I've never missed an episode. He thinks it's his show. So it kind of what we do is we do parenum investigations and sometimes we do it. Sometimes it's really busy and we do a whole bunch and sometimes it's really not busy and we've got loles.

And so as much as I would love to talk about personal experiences, sometimes there's just not a whole lot to talk about. And to be honest with you with our residential investigations we've kind of got to a point where we can go and figure things out pretty quick and clean things pretty quick without a whole lot of. Yeah, that's kind of the we went from investigating and just collecting evidence of people's houses to pretty much just walking in going, okay, here's the problem. Let's get rid of it.

Which makes it a little bit difficult to talk about personal experiences. Then you can get into the nuts and bolts of the technicalities and the music and the air quotations here. Do it. Science of paranormal stuff.

We're going to get an email now. I know, right. And there's only so much we can talk about there. We've talked about demons.

We've talked about ghosts. We've talked about spirits. And there's other stuff we'll talk about. But we started talking about like zombies and mummies and we should get into a little mythology and different cultures more than what we did because you guys went through and talked about spirits and different religion and cultures and we kind of just rushed through it.

We didn't really. Maybe we need to spend a little more time talking about different myths and legends and go that route. That was actually something I was researching recently. But the reality is, for those who are listening, there's only so much stuff to talk about.

We are doing our best, but every now and then you're going to get paranormal pudding and it makes for a little bit more of a fun episode when we can talk about goofy stuff that is just weird and paranormal related. I'm not going to lie, I've got a couple stories today. They're not really paranormal related, but they're weird enough that I'm going to include them. I don't like episodes like this because it kind of lets us put more of our own personality into the show instead of just kind of like, here's the topic and we just kind of do it like lecture style sometimes.

We need to do a movie review. You know what's been a while since we've done one of those. We do need to do a movie review. Yeah, I'll have to.

Well, the none is coming out. Maybe that would be a good one. We can review. What are you doing on Saturday?

Let's go see the none. Saturday? It is. Or Friday.

So anyway, long story short, that's why you're going to get episodes of paranormal pudding. That's why we're adding a little bit of fun into the show because sometimes I think we get a little too serious and drony. Yep, that's what I was just saying. Drony, bologna.

So we were... I like to just repeat you, Tim. I like to move it, move it. I like to move it, move it.

I like to say what Tim says, but anyway, that's smart fun and entertaining. I like to move it, move it. Alright, so move it. He was in Connecticut.

Yes, and he decided that he woke up one morning and there was actually an intruder in his home and so he fired shots at the intruder. This happened back in July, but the recent update on the story is he's actually going to court here on the 11th for the illegal discharge of a firearm making a false name to the police and second degree reckless endangerment, misusing an emergency call and disorder conduct. So what the guy has basically come out and said, since the original or the initial police report that he was shooting at an intruder, he is now told the police that he is a paranormal investigator and possibly shooting at a ghost. Oh wow.

By the way, if you want me to come investigate at your home, I have quite the collection of firearms and I'd love to shoot a few rounds off inside your home. So this dude basically claimed that he was shooting at an intruder in his house and now he's telling the cops that it was probably a ghost. So because he came out and said that he's got all sorts of charges to bring him up on, they're very serious charges too, like Felony just started a firearm. Now did you just say he was drunk in there?

Was that one of the charges? No, he wasn't drunk. He was sleeping when this happened. You know, that's one thing that's interesting and for those who do listen to the show they know they've got a little bit of law enforcement background.

I get some weird stories sometimes you show up to people's homes who are not mentally all there. And I've heard some pretty amazing things from guys in some boroughs hanging out in the tree in front of the house to people hiding in the attic to literally had a lady tell me that Gordon B. Hinckley was hanging out in her house. And for those who are from Utah, that's a major religious figure out here.

That would be like the pope showing up to your house. Yeah. And so, yeah, ghost in the house. How do you shoot a ghost?

I don't know. Brandi, would that require salt bullets or holy water bullets or basil bullets? Why would you need ammo at all? No, so what you do, it's like in who framed Roger Rabbit?

It's not a solid map. No, it's like in who framed Roger Rabbit. I had to use the cartoon gun so they could shoot the cartoon bullets. It's like that.

You have to use a ghost gun that shoots ghosts bullets so you can kill the ghost. I think you just burned some sage and you're good, okay? I'm armed. I've got a ghost gun.

I've got to take the fun out of it. Weirdos. It's just too simple. That's a point.

It's simple. You've got to show these type three, two means business by using a ghost gun. Yeah. Get your pro.

I'm sure that's what they're scared of. They're afraid of my ghost gun. You can't see them. They're more scared of where they're going to end up when they crawl so they're more than your stupid ghost gun.

I'm not sure we've ever used a ghost gun. That might be something we need to use as a new investigative tool. We need to get our pro. Yeah, we'll walk up and be like, this is a ghost gun.

And you can see me clearly on the podcast holding nothing. Yeah, Tim has definitely got an invisible gun. It's my ghost gun. It's my ghost gun.

It shoots ghosts bullets and kills the ghost. Alright, so I've got one for you guys. Do you? I do.

Except for I have to hold the paper right set up so I can actually read it. Zephyr. Well, we've talked about some about some multiplication, we talked about different death rituals. So, well-plated yesterday, July 19th, archaeologists in Egypt cracked open a mysterious 2,000 year old black-starked Cophagus, possibly the largest ever to be found in Alexandria, to see what was inside.

While no evil curse seat out of the tomb, at least none that was immediately apparent, the findings, which consisted of three skeletons that may be the remains of soldiers, lying in a pool of reddish sewage. They still managed to spur some ramblings in the outer corners of the internet. Case in point, a change.org position addressed to the king of skeletons begs for a taste of the bone juice. We need to drink them.

Bone juice? I'll get some bone juice for ya. I did not write the article. Oh my gosh.

I think it's called bone marrow. We need to drink the red liquid from the cursed dark sarcophagus in the form of some sort of carbonated energy drink so we can assume it's ours and finally die. The petition reads. So is that like fruit punch monster?

Hm, corpse juice. That's going to be the Halloween flavor. Crap. Corpse juice.

So what would happen if you drank the awful ominous red juice? According to microbiologist. I'll leave vomit. Or die.

You can make your own bone juice. According to microbiologist Rolf Helden, a professor and director of the Center for Environmental Health Engineering at Arizona State University. Values like Institute. Holy crap.

That's my fault. That's what she said. Drinking the mister. Not you.

Drinking the mister. Oh wow. Nice. Wow.

That was a good one. Sing on that. You must be hung like a horse like you're ugly as shit and your wife is still with you. Sing.

Wow. That was way just out of the blue. Continue your story, sir. According to microbiologist Rolf Holden, a professor and director of a place for a really long time that I don't want to read again.

Drinking the mister juice is not a smart idea. No. That's like handing some of a can of a crew. Don't drink it.

We talked with the doctor for a bad idea. Surgeons General Warning says don't do it. Rather than acquiring the powers from the dead, the drinker could be exposed to something bad, he says. Something bad?

That's an quotation marks. Something bad. You know, I don't know what, but I'm pretty sure if you drink that something bad is going to happen. It's not a good idea to drink sewage, no matter how old it is, Helden told my science.

That's because sewage and debris from decaying bodies contains a ton of microorganisms and some of them are potentially dangerous. They're most likely viruses, bacteria and other pathogens that look like living in bacteria that conform to endosporas, which are extremely tough to kill. They're not supposed to survive in the case specimens for thousands, even millions of years, he said. Those are all good reasons for the red liquid not to be consumed, as it is.

However, if anyone really needs to drink this, the material needs to be sterilized, he said. He'd distill the red juice. Helden added that while there are many reasons not to drink the juice, his lab would be happy to analyze a sample of it. He only needs a few milliliters of liquid.

Hey, don't drink that juice, but hey, do you want to give me some? I'd be cool. Well, I mean, he's not going to take it and start drinking it in his lab or something. I'm just going to want to know who's thinking that drinking 2,000 year old corpse goo is.

Someone that's living a shit life and wants superpowers? Kenny Dee. Someone who's sitting in the mums basement huffing paint. You don't do that?

No. Kenny, would you like some red corpse juice? Yeah, I'm sure you would. We're not playing with your big mums basement, okay?

What else you got first, Tim? Well, I only had one story because I didn't know until we started recording that it was just us. Okay, I have a weird one that I've been reading. So, according to this, a witness sees UFO on board an airplane talks with 8 inch-fingered alien.

8 inch-fingered alien? Yes. So, the sky named Greg, I don't know even how to say his last name, I'm not going to try to butcher it. Had an experience that would change the life, change his life while I'm born on an airplane.

He was later interviewed and a video was posted about him talking to, about his experience by near-death experiment. So, a planet and the way society has been structured is based upon fear and confusion, perhaps we all just living in a zoo type environment, being watched by alien beings. Another theory is we ourselves are aliens or descendants of them. The universe is a large mysterious place with much wonderment around us and it goes on to talk about him.

And he was, so he was in his early 20s or so because he's like 40 something now. And it says that he was on his way back from the Bahamas when he noticed a strangely shaped cylinder fly next to the plane. And the object pointed at one end and pointed to where the lavatory would be. You must use that through him.

This is the craft had no windows. He remembers all these like, extreme details about the fuel system intake and the puzzle that's on the side of it and whatever was a mysterious flying spacecraft. And apparently he made his way to the blue when he met up with some greenish gray alien that had alien shlong fingers and something about putting them in his mouth. So he thinks that the alien implanted him while he was in the restaurant was supposed to be in the lavatory.

That's the same guy who watched his virginity to alien face. I don't think so. Apparently people other than him saw the same craft as well so he didn't think he was crazy. And then it goes on to about how his life changed from that point once he had met with the alien because he now has visions of places where the UFOs are at and the stuff that aliens have left behind.

You know it's interesting. I'm not really an expert on this by any means. I really am not versed at all in Ufology but I know there's, I can't remember the column. I'm sure listeners can send me an email to tell me exactly what they call them.

But there is a group out there that does believe that we are basically bioengineered beings that were basically a slave race to aliens and that in some kind of alien war they more or less abandoned us while they went off into the cosmos fighting their alien war. And we are just kind of left here to our own devices until they come back to... Yeah, but it's like... To re-inslave us.

He figured it was telling him to go to the lavatory because that's why you need to go to meet with aliens. That's a good place. In the lavatory. You can join the alien mile high club.

Well, exactly. Basically, I don't... he just goes off about how his life's been so different because he has all these visions now of aliens stuff that's all over the planet. And now he's fitting to be famous because he's going to work with the FBI and all these government officials on about war he can find stuff that's alien craft.

I'm like, okay. So tell me that's some fanciful wishful thinking. No, but... Can the wasters can't see you nod.

That wasn't even paying attention to what she was saying. I knew that's what the nod was. It was an empty, huh? Yep, yep.

I agree. I saw you stood easily over there looking for... Yeah, I was looking for a new story and the one that you handed me. A stock of them.

This is one we were going to do on the last show and this one... It's not really supernatural, but it's certainly weird enough that we're going to include it anyway. I wonder if we might have to see if there's an update on this dude because this article is actually from two years ago. But I'm going to read it anyways.

But the time we news here... This is just in. Two years ago. So the article starts off with saying next time you hear someone say that they drink tastes like piss, you might want to have them check the label because...

Guillp and family whiskey actually is. So apparently it's a completely drinkable single malt alcohol is distilled from the urine of elderly diabetics. So this dude basically decided that based on the fact that when this article came out and it's still the same now, people like to do home brews, or the whole beer whiskey or whatever. And he also heard a rumor about something to do with the urine from the elderly and his own type 1 diabetes kind of let him try this thing out.

And the article actually says in World of the Home Brew is all the rage and home is trying to take off. He decided to take do it yourself alcohol to a whole new, much weird level. You can call him the P.P. Pioneer.

Please tell me that was the article and not you. No, that's in the article. Okay. We've got a couple of them.

I think it's funny. I think it's a type of diabetes. He just began to wonder if the diabetic sugar rich urine can be used to create a high in whiskey. He says...

I was going to say this guy needs a hobby, but it kind of sounds like he has one. He's kind of a hobby. He finds himself drawn to biomedical tech and in order to do this, he decided to recruit his grandmother and built a homemade distillery. That says turns out it works and the whiskey ain't bad either.

So basically... How come he had to get to say that? I don't know. So basically what he starts off doing is he purifies.

He purifies. He purifies. If he purifies the urine into water, then he removes the excess sugar molecules from Granny's pee, then adds it to the mash to speed up the fermentation process. What he ends up with is a clear white alcohol that he blends with another whiskey to give the proper color in barrel aged taste.

The final step involving bottling the piss key and labeling it with the name of the age of the diabetic it was derived from. Surprisingly, this is also suitable for export. So it's... it's met the requirements where he could actually send this out to other countries if he wanted to.

I guess initially he hoped that he would be able to start a conversation with healthcare professionals by proposing the ideas in our project. But then he heard the urban legend that led him to actually produce the product. The urban legend was that there was someone that would go around in the elderly community and exchange like brand new couch cushions and stuff that the retirement home needed for tubes of urine. And he was able to distill the urine and make it to where you could actually use it.

And so this kid said that he was going to try it out and now he makes his own whiskey out of urine. A family is called piss key. So walk me through the process of how we can get to this. Walk me through the stop process Tim.

So you're sitting at home high one day. How high? Very high. You don't have the balls to get this high.

You're melting into the couch. And he was like, you know what? Are we talking like Blitzer baked or? Oh we're talking like if you're ever seen distracted with Kathy Bates this you don't have the balls to be this high.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No so you just like you sit in there and like clearly pissed himself because he was drunk and high.

That's just where I'm going with. And then he's like, hey, I watched dodgeball once and rip torn told me that you could drink your own urine because it's sterile. So he decided that he would take his grandma and steal her pee and make it into whiskey. That's the original version.

There's so many things wrong with that story. So many things wrong with that story. Yeah. All right.

Does it necessarily for me to drink my own urine? No. It's sterile and I like the taste. Ew.

That's from dodgeball. Yeah. There's a fantastic movie. Yeah.

Riptorn was awesome with that movie. If you could not run you could dodge ball. I mean it is true but still. I don't know.

Yeah. It's one of the survival situations. It's kind of one of those. Can you?

Yes. Should you? No. How do you have that conversation with your grandma?

Hey grandma. I need your pee. Actually though have you guys ever heard the term doesn't have a pot to piss in? That is actually from back in the day they used to sell pee to tanneries to tan hides.

And so if you really poor you would sell your urine to leather tanneries to tan leather. And if you were really poor you didn't have a pot to piss in. And that meant you were a support that you couldn't even afford to sell your pee to leather tanneries. Anyway useless tidbits during Castle's mind.

That's how old you are. Ouch. Alright let's talk a possessed sword. Or cursed sword and possession.

I got a cursed sword. When dealing with haunted objects you always have to be on your toes. Some strange artifacts will never show an ounce of paranormal activity for years until they are introduced to the right trigger. The trigger might be a person, location or time period.

When the two meet all hell can break loose if you aren't prepared. There's no better example of this than the time we watched a haunted ritual sword possess a young woman with an urge to kill. As curator of the world's only paranormal museum were regularly filled with requests to contain and remove haunted objects from people's properties. About six months ago we were contacted by a kapukki man who claimed that his troubled son had been dabbling in the satanism.

And while he had destroyed the teens of cult paraphernalia in his backyard fire he was in possession of a so called ritual sword that he wasn't sure what to do with. The father told us that a son had been using the sword to summon all manner of demons and that he wanted out of his house and far away from his family. So we agreed to meet with a man and take it off his hands adding it to the collection in the traveling museum of the paranormal and the occult. When we were finally presented with a weapon we were admittedly a bit underwhelmed.

We had been expecting some massive Viking style sword to look at every bit as part of a demon summoning a ritual weapon. And that is most definitely not what we were looking at. Boy that's the poorly worded grammar in this article. Stacked into a full leather sheath was an average looking sword with a gold hued handle that had, of all things, a daisy carved into the tip of the hilt.

Where a demon summoning sorcerer's weapon the sword was decidedly mundane. Wait there was a flower in the Satan sword? Yeah. It was someone happy demons apparently.

Um...what? That's also... Lord Master come to me and my sword. Apparently according to a...

Hey, come up on my sword would ya? My grandfather is currently watching Ghost Adventures from Asylum 49. Wow, we've been there. Have we?

More than a few times. More than yes. I was just random that my husband's about my grandparents and that's what they're watching. Interesting.

Alright, so back on to the daisy sword. The distressed father admitted to us that he considered keeping the sword as it had been a gift presented to the young man by a family member, but claimed that the weapon would often make a strange ringing sound almost as if it were a gigantic tuning fork. The strange humblest was a deciding factor in his decision to donate the sword to us. Shortly after received the object we were off to a strange escape event presented at a legendary Stanley Hotel, which is a cool place we've actually been there.

Yes. Had some interesting experiences at the Stanley Hotel, which we won't tell you about because we're not doing that in this episode. I want to go back there. I do too.

Oh. How's it going? Just kidding. Makes me sad.

No, it doesn't. We can get rid of the other. I want to get rid of Kingside Bed and Chirrit. No.

Well, that was the pun of getting rid of the other. I don't know, it's a bit funny. What Kingside's beds are cheaper than two queens. Okay, but I get the bed, you get the floor.

No. We're cuddling and I'm the ladle. Damn, you got me there. That's true.

Alright, let's see. So the Stanley Hotel, and after putting out a description tag, we packed the sword into a chest with the rest of our haunted objects and headed off for the Colorado Mountains. By the way, anyone who's ever been to Estes Park where the Stanley Hotel is, it's absolutely gorgeous. Yes, that's why I like it.

In a few weeks before the event, we had experienced zero-strange activity associated with the sword. Greg and I couldn't help but think that the so-called ritual sword was collateral damage in a vital belt family's overreaction to a teens of daddling in the internet witchcraft. It happens all the time. The first day the Stanley Hotel event went off without a hitch.

With most museum visitors paying very little attention to the sword at all, further convincing us that the object was probably a dud. With even our most inactive and mundane objects, we generally receive some useful feedback about the object from those who claim to be psychic or sensitive. The sword didn't seem to have any such effect. The second night of the event, however, completely blew that theory out of the water with one very strange incident.

Within an hour of opening museum to the event, guests, a young lady who will call Maria for the purposes of this article, approached the display and calmly asked if she could hold the sword. Which I'm just going to interject here. Having dealt with cursed and haunted objects, just randomly ho-hum handling of them is really a bad idea. Yeah, it is.

I don't know why these people allow people to handle these objects. I've handled objects. I know you have handled objects, but we also take a lot of care and caution when we do so. We don't do it willy-nilly.

All right. When we formed the museum several years ago, we decided to start traveling across the country with these haunted objects. It was very important to us that people be able to hold these artifacts. That's part of the experience that they wish to.

Until this point, there's only one piece we wouldn't let people handle. Oh, hey, Mark will start off. Dun-dun-dun-dun. Dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun.

So, they gave the girl hold the sword, and after about 20 minutes, an event gourd pulled me aside and quietly informed me that she thought it might be good idea for me to remove the sword from the vicinity of Maria. As I scanned the room, I quickly found the young girl crouched on the floor in the corner. The sword was still clutched tightly in her hands, and the very strange vacant look on her face. I was immediately alarmed.

When I'd missed while I was busy with the other guests, it wasn't the 20 minutes since she disappeared with the ritual sword, which was also really good. Let's let people handle cursed haunted objects and not pay attention to them. Yeah. She started swinging her around violently, pointing at a museum visitor and muttering about how she needed to spill blood.

Well, you know, that's my natural action when I hold haunted swords. What would it be appropriate given the description of her to say? Oops-a-daisy. Oops-a-daisy.

I cut ya. Oops-a-daisy. I rushed to the corner where she crouched, muttering to herself, and had to forcefully pry the sword out of her hands, which were both wrapped around the hill of her knuckles' white. Seeing as event was currently full swing, I suggested she go sit outside the fresh air and try to ground herself, and a flutter come back so I could talk to their private once event was over.

Hey, I realize that you're possessed by a demon. I'm busy till six. Can you maybe come back later tonight? We'll talk this out.

I'm speaking in tongues. Yeah, I'm a little busier right now. Can I come back later? She agreed and I didn't see her again until the end of the event when I was starting trailing back to the haunted hotel room for the night.

I sat Marie in an empty room and had her recount her experience from beginning to end. Marie had no memory of her grasply putting the sword in the crowd, renting about splitting blood, or even before she was pulling away from her. Well, I think she did remember, was that she felt there was something very strong and very old and very dark attached to the artifact. With a lot of her items I sometimes take months for them to truly display any kind of strange activity.

Sometimes I can't help but wonder if they're behaving that way in order to trick us. If we believe they're harmless we're less likely to take major precautions with them. And that's when frightening incidents like the sword tend to occur. Since that event, not only have we not let him to touch the sword, we also learn a bit more about his potential origins.

We've had the sword examined by weapons expert who explained to us the object was not created with the intention of being a real historical recreation. As both the hilt of chapter far too small, he believes the sword is specifically created for the purpose of ritual use. You have a picture of the sword there? I do have a picture of the sword.

You're a shot to. Let me see. Alright, standby as we have Peaches examined the sword until split. I'm not examining nothing.

I'm examining my phone about. Cryptozoology porn. Cryptozoology porn? Yeah.

Here though. El Cupacaba slept with Bigfoot yesterday. It's just in. Alright, she's examining the sword.

That's the butt end. That's the hilt. With the daisy. Yeah, that's up with the daisy.

Okay. Because I wasn't listening to your story. That's what we do here. Yeah, why not?

She's shaking her head now. Uh-uh. Nothing. I'm pretty sure that whole thing is on act.

Swing the sword around the same thing on blood. Regardless, and I know I've hammered on this before and I've hammered on this on previous episodes, and I know I hammered on this just a few minutes ago handling cursed objects and things of that nature are a really bad idea. For all we know it could have energy could have transferred. That's true.

I've helped Pupo the clown and... Why? Because... Stippy.

But again, if anybody else wanted to help Pupo, I would probably advise them against it. I would tell them no. There can be a transfer of energy and it's just it's dangerous. There's a cursed book that we talked about in the basement of the Family Tree that's got some attachment stuff with it.
