A standout moment was meeting Miss Jacqueline Smith, the longest-standing protester in U.S. history, who has dedicated decades of her life to protecting the integrity of Black history by peacefully protesting the African American museum connected to the Lorraine Hotel. Her commitment is a living reminder that the fight for truth, respect, and legacy never ends. In true community spirit, appreciation was also shown by Mrs. Jennifer Carpenter owner of The Garden Brunch Cafe an elegant, upscale brunch experience in the heart of Memphis — known for honoring Miss Jacqueline Smith by only allowing to-go orders for her, ensuring she is fed and respected daily. A small act of care that speaks volumes about love, dignity, and community. This journey is about more than a podcast.
