Pulling Back the Covers

from #SermonReCast · host St. Mark CME Church

We often make presumptions about people and whether or not God has the ability to save them. In this second sermon in our series on the women in the genealogy of Jesus, we focus on Rahab. Rahab is known as a prostitute living on the walls of the great city of Jericho. Yet, we discover in Joshua's account of the conquering of this city that she is more spiritually in tune with what God is doing for His people than the spies she has hidden. We witness not only her salvation but her restoration as she gives birth to her son Salmon. Tune in to this edition of the St. Mark Christian Methodist Episcopal Church #SermonReCast by our pastor, Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Hill. As always, feel free to visit us online at www.stmarkcme.org or if you are in the neighborhood, stop in for one of our worship or learning opportunities. We look forward to seeing you.
