Pulling the Woo over the Angels!
from Halos in the infield Hosted by HITI
The Angels' offensive struggles continued in Seattle, falling 8-3 to the Mariners as Bryan Woo once again proved to be a thorn in the Angels' side. For six innings, this game had all the makings of a classic pitchers' duel. José Soriano matched Woo pitch for pitch, keeping the Mariners off the scoreboard and giving the Angels every opportunity to steal a road win. Then came the sixth inning. The game completely flipped as Seattle finally broke through, Soriano ran into trouble, and the Mariners took full advantage. From there, the Angels' offense never found an answer, continuing a frustrating trend of missed opportunities and cold bats against quality pitching. On tonight's ToddFox Postgame Show, we'll discuss: Bryan Woo's continued dominance over the Angels. José Soriano's strong start before the game unraveled. Why the Angels' offense continues to disappear in big moments. The turning point that changed the entire game. What the Angels must do to avoid dropping the series and get the offense back on track. Join the conversation in the comments! Is this simply a tough stretch offensively, or are the Angels exposing bigger issues that must be addressed before the trade deadline?
