We met with Dr. Ho at the American Academy of Emergency Medicine Scientific Assembly to discuss her background as well as her thoughts about technology advancements that support the evolving decision-making process. “We still use pagers. Pagers have been around before I was born, which is just obscene that you have billion dollar industries, you can transplant hearts, you can 3D print a joint and put it into someone, but you can’t find a better way of contacting an orthopedic surgeon than a pager.”
