Well, farming is anything but part-time, it takes a lot of time and energy, especially after working a day job. This is the reality for our guests on today’s episode, Scott and Delissa Mainord. On this episode, we speak to one of our For Farmers Grant winners, Scott and Delissa Mainord of Mainord Family Farms, located in East Prairie, Missouri. Mainord Family Farms is a produce farm, where they mainly grow watermelon and pumpkins, after working their day jobs.
