Punchline
from In It Together Hosted by GBH
Stages around the state have been dark since March and that includes those frequented by comedians. In a perfect world, comedians feed off the energy of live audiences to perform and in turn, make those audiences laugh. But in a time where live shows just aren't possible right now, comedians are having to adapt their comedy to virtual audiences. We hear from Dorchester comedian Lamont Price about how he's managing in this new world. Then, comedy mainstay Improv Boston announced this week it's closing it's Cambridge theater after nearly 2-decades operating shows and classes from it. We learn what's next for the company from Managing Director Josh Garneau.
