Punishment, What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day #157

Why do I always talk about punishment in my videos? Lots of folks don't seem to want to or they don't know how to. It seems to be a big taboo to talk about, unfortuntally it is also the most important part of dog training when it comes to stopping unwanted behaviors. Most of the questions I get are all about "how do I stop.......and then fill in the blank. The only way to to stop an unwanted behavior is through punishment. The thing is that most folks do not know how to properly punish a dog and that is where the teaching comes in.
